  • The form will close 1 hour before each show so unused tickets can be offered to families who need them

Volunteers:

If you are volunteering for a show, you do NOT need a ticket for that performance. Volunteers should plan to wear dark clothing as you may be backstage or moving dancers between the office and backstage.

Performance Photography

We are excited to share that Jozef Raiche will be photographing the performances. He will have photos available for purchase after the show. We’ll share details on how to view and order images once they are ready.

1. Rehearsal Attendance:

   - Attendance at all rehearsals is crucial for the success of the production. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise; therefore, planned absences must be communicated at least two weeks in advance.

   - While we strive to accommodate occasional absences, it is important to note that missing rehearsals affects the entire team. If your absences exceed 25% of scheduled rehearsals, it becomes a significant concern that needs to be addressed.

2. Consequences of Excessive Absences:

   - As a dancer with NMDA, you are allowed to miss up to 25% of rehearsals without jeopardizing your stage time. Exceeding this limit may result in reduced stage time or another dancer being assigned to your role.

3. Mandatory Week of Rehearsals:

It is mandatory for all dancers to attend rehearsals at The Braumart during the week leading up to the performance. These rehearsals are essential for finalizing choreography, spacing, and technical aspects of the show.

By signing up for Nutcracker, you confirm that you have read and understand the commitments outlined above. You agree to prioritize attendance at rehearsals and understand the consequences of exceeding the allowable absence limit. You also agree to attend all mandatory rehearsals at The Braumart the week of the performance.

If you are unable to commit to the expectations and mandatory rehearsals, please discuss with Katie Roell prior to auditions.

Let’s work together. Help us plan ahead for Nutcracker Rehearsals!

Please use this form to submit any planned absences in regards to Nutcracker.
